The DS18B20 is an innovative digital temperature sensor built with anti-corrosion OD6*50mm AISI304 tube, and encapsulated in environmental stress cracking and abrasion resistant PVC cable, so it is suitable for a wide variety of industrial and commercial applications. It has an easy to assemble connector on the end, to make sure that external factors such as contamination, diffusion of substrate metal, and contact wear, are prevented. Additionally, it has a unique 64-bit serial code, which allows multiple DS18B20s to operate on the same 1-Wire bus. This makes it easy for one microprocessor to control many distributed temperature sensors over a wide area. The DS18B20 can be used for all types of temperature monitoring applications, such as chemical storage, mines, HVAC environmental control, and temperature monitoring inside buildings, equipment, or machinery.
